My story
Ever since I was young, I secretly dreamed of being a housewife and spending all my time with my family, friends and doing my hobbies, but I was too embarrassed to tell anyone, because I was scared that people would judge me, but I decided that life is too short to not be who you really are! When I first met my darling back in 2023, he told me he would love to be able to take care of his wife, and I couldn't be happier that I met someone who wanted the same life as me, who would support me so I could take care of our home. We got engaged on our first anniversary, and have been happy together since!
My beliefs
I heavily believe in being my fully authentic self, and that there is nothing wrong with being a homemaker if that is what the person in question wants. I love homemaking, I love being a woman, and I love being feminine, free and happy!
My darling and I also practice traditional gender roles in our relationship. We believe that he is the head of the household and that I submit to him, but that his leadership is self-sacrificial servant leadership. That means that he views it as his obligation to take care of me, provide for, and protect me so that I can be as happy and carefree as possible! And my part is to happily attend to the housekeeping and spend time with my family, which I enjoy immensely.
While this arrangement makes us both very happy, I do not believe that all men and women have to act this way. I fully support women's equal rights in society to work, vote, and make their own choices in life free of violence. I do NOT believe that homemaking women are superior to working women, nor do I believe all married women should be homemakers. This blog is purely about my own life and how I live out my vocation.
Why the pampered housewife?
The reason I chose 'The Pampered Housewife' as the name for my blog, is because so many associate being a housewife with endless drudgery, but I want to show that it can also be a wonderful experience, and to share my life of enjoying my cozy living, my hobbies, and my travelling!
My hobbies
Aside from my homemaking, my blog and my Instagram, I love to play videogames, which you can view by clicking on the steam link below. I am also a musicaholic! You can view some of the songs I listen to by clicking the Spotify link below. I also love to read, write short romance stories, watch anime, and spend time with my darling and friends!
